January Market Update 5th February 2019

In total, we valued 171 houses in January, and were instructed to sell 63. This was compared to January 2018, where we visited 160 houses and were instructed to sell 58.

New housing stock is always a good sign of an active market, and suggests that many people are still wanting to move, despite the ‘Brexit’ saga that confronts us on a daily basis on the television and radio.

Whilst the first week of January was a little slow on the sales side, we ended up agreeing sales on almost 50 properties, another great result and proof of a positive housing market.

Wilkins Vardy offer free, no obligation appraisals of your home by experienced valuers, who know the market and understand our locality. Call any one of our three branches to arrange a visit.

We move into February with high expectations of another busy month, with interest being shown across all price categories.

In January we booked 660 viewings, which kept our reception team extremely busy, booking in and gaining constructive feedback.
